     After a long winter, you are most likely looking for activities to do with your friends and family. New York Style Deli & Pizza is a great place to go eat and catch up with everyone. Located in Downtown Warren, New York Style provides many different styles of pizzas and sandwiches that the whole family will love. 

     The Squire interviewed New York Style employee and EHS junior, Taylor Napolitan, to get the inside scoop on the restaurant. Taylor has worked at New York Style for two months and has loved working at the restaurant. Taylor told The Squire, “The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, the employees crack jokes with each other and the customers creating a very relaxed feel.” Taylor said that her coworkers and customers are her favorite part of working at New York Style. The Squire asked Taylor what convinced her to work at New York Style, she explained that, “…my sister has worked there for awhile and she enjoyed it so much that I wanted to be a part of it.” Taylor is just one of the many employees that make New York Style such an enjoyable business to visit. 

     The Squire went to New York Style to experience the welcoming atmosphere that Taylor had described. When I went to the restaurant, I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The pizza was amazing and, for twenty dollars it was worth the price. The employees and atmosphere were better than Taylor had described; everyone was welcoming and made me feel like I was a part of their work family. On the menu there was over ten different types of pizzas to order from along with plenty of sandwich, stromboli, and salad options. Along with the main courses, there are also three sides and plenty of desserts to choose from. Taylor recommended the gluten free cauliflower pizza, the Buffalo Chicken Wing Pizza, and the Alex Sandwich. 

     Since New York Style is in Downtown Warren, it is in a prime location for customers from all over Warren County. The restaurant’s dine in option is perfect for a relaxed night out, but, if you’d rather stay at home, they offer both a takeout and delivery service. The delivery service is free for eligible customers who live within a four-mile radius. New York Style is opened Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 8PM. Taylor informed The Squire that the best time to dine in is on weekdays from 2 to 5.  

     Next time you are looking for a place to eat, consider going to New York Style Deli & Pizza. The classic pizza shop décor and the friendly staff makes this restaurant a great place to go eat. Along with their Warren location at 338 Pennsylvania Ave West, they are also adding another location this summer. That is all for this issue of The Squire’s restaurant review.
