How Coronavirus Affected Senior Year

Around seven months ago when I started my senior year, I never would have imagined an ending quite like the one I have been given. Growing up and watching the classes before me, I have always looked forward to everything that senior year has to offer, including senior prom, the class trip, baccalaureate, the final walk through, and graduation. These events and more are experiences that seniors look forward to as a way to end the high school chapter of their lives and more forward into their futures. WCSD Promotes Mental Health Awareness

As the New Year starts, it is important that you take your mental health seriously and find ways to improve your mental health. Mental Health Awareness Month, also referred to as “Mental Health Month” has been observed in May in the United States since 1949, reaching millions of people in the United States through media, local events, and screenings. Mental Health Awareness is represented by a lime green ribbon. The color is also used for childhood depression, mental illness, and mood disorders.
