Being a Male Cheerleader

By: Adam Pascuzzi

Being a male cheerleader is probably one of the most interesting sports here at EHS. Apart from being around girls all the time, you get to learn a dance and stunt routine. Social Media Manager: Dominick Giannini

In his second year of being a member of the journalism club, Dominick Giannini has earned the ranks of Media Manager after growing his personal Instagram to nearly 850 followers and having pictures with 200+ likes. In his free time Dominick enjoys going to school events and yelling “that’s a hack” along with getting in heated political arguments on twitter. As a result of Dominick’s school spirit and immediate success as the Media Manager, he has also earned the position of journalism club treasurer. The Squire met up with Dominick Giannini to learn the inside scoop on his new position.

The Squire: What made you decide to apply for the media manager position rather than the other positions?

Dominick Giannini: I saw a need and filled it, you’re all welcome.

TS: On What social media websites does The Squire have accounts?

DG: We have both active Twitter and Instagram accounts.

TS: How many followers do you have on the Instagram and Twitter accounts?

DG: Being a relatively small school, we have 125 on Twitter and 287 on Instagram

TS: How often do you post on social media and on which account is The Squire most active?

DG: I post on both equally; they get updated before, during, and after all major school events.

TS: What is your favorite part about being the media manager?

DG: Ms. Howe can’t yell at me when I’m on my phone anymore, so I guess that’s a plus.

TS: What are your plans for after high school?

DG: I’ll be attending Pitt for a double major of Economics and Political Science, and hopefully starting a political career in the not too distant future.

TS: Do you participate in any extracurricular activities at EHS?

DG: I play soccer and participate in track, as well as shooting on the trap team.

We are excited to announce our new media manager in Dominick Giannini and have high hopes that he will lead our accounts to 1 million followers by the end of the school year.
