Every fall, Eisenhower High School has an annual Homecoming dance put together by our Student Council that takes place in the cafeteria. This year, our homecoming theme was “A Knight in a Castle.” The decorations of chandeliers, a rose in a glass case, and stone castles throughout the cafeteria were inspired by The Beautyand the Beast movie. The dance, which was held on September 30, was a huge success, with many students sharing that they had a blast and loved the décor.
It’s that spooky time of year again and we’re all wondering what we are going to be this year. The Squire is here to help you think of something new! With some of the new movies that have come out this year, we’ve gathered up some great and unique ideas.
This week’s squire student spotlight issue focuses on Delaney Nizzi. Delaney participates in Student Council, basketball, and track for Eisenhower Middle High School. She recently was picked to represent the junior class by being put on Homecoming court. Delaney’s plans after high school include going to college to be a nurse practitioner. She has been a member of Student Council for three years. The Squire recently interviewed her and asked a series of questions regarding her involvement in sports and Student Council to help readers and EMHS students learn some more interesting things about her.
