The Knights took on undefeated Seneca Bobcats, the region favorites, for the Homecoming game this year. To start, things were back and forth for the Knights and Bobcats, with Seneca scoring in the first quarter, but failing with the extra point. The Knights came back with a big drive, led by Jaydon Hayes, before the quarter ended.
Ready, set, fight! On October 6, 2017, the “Pink Out Game” did just that. Every year at Eisenhower, a breast cancer awareness game is held in October to help raise money for the cancer treatment center. People attending were to wear pink in support of the event. The EHS football team and cheerleaders wore pink Friday during school to start off the celebration early.
There are many exciting things for girls’ fall sports happening this year, especially the soccer team. The soccer team’s record so far is 8-3. They just beat the top team in their region, Seneca in a double overtime. The girls also have a great chance at being region champions. While the volleyball team has not won many games, the teamwork aspect has improved incredibly. They have high hopes for next year’s season. The girls cross country team has had an impressive season so far due to a little friendly, teammate competition. Below are interviews with one girl from each team.
