Dancing into our Parisian Prom

     Every spring the excitement of upperclassmen heightens to new levels with prom just around the corner. From the music, dancing, snacks, dressing up, and spending the whole night having fun with friends, it truly is a night to remember. And this year will be no exception with the Prom Committee’s efforts to ensure that this dance is one that seniors and juniors will enjoy and reminisce about for years to come.

Dancing into Prom

As spring is finally approaching, so is the time to start getting ready for Prom. Everyone loves everything about the night: the decorations, the music, and, most importantly, the dress shopping. Prom is the night where everyone can hop on the dance floor and have the time of their life. Whether you go solo, with a date, or just attend with a group of friends, Prom is the night where everyone can join together and have fun as one group. Prom is still in the planning stages, and Prom Committee is hard at work to make this year’s dance memorable.  The Squire sat down with Prom Committee member, Alexis Courtney, to help explain more about what to expect at the big dance. Alex Barnett Reigns as Mr. EHS 2019

This year’s annual Mr. EHS competition yielded another hilarious show planned by the Journalism Club and hosted by last year’s winner, Joey Bauer, and senior, Ethan Chambers. As expected, every participant wowed in the categories of school spirit, talent, muscle, and formal wear.  The competition was tough, but, in the end, Alex Barnett was crowned as Mr. EHS 2019, with Michael Abadie being crowned as runner up.
