The Squire’s Guy’s Guide to Prom

By: Will Mandeville

Gentlemen, as you all know, prom is coming up quickly, so here’s a Guy’s Guide to Prom from The Squire. First, you must decide what you are going to wear. Typically, guys choose to wear a nice suit with their choice of tie. If you don’t like the idea of wearing a suit, you could put together a nice outfit of your choice. When the morning of prom arrives, start to think about how long it will take for you to get ready.

The Squire interviewed Eisenhower Junior Gavin Reynolds, he provided his thoughts on how long you should give yourself to get ready, He stated, “I’d give myself probably 20 to 30 minutes as it takes me around 10 minutes to normally get ready and it takes a little bit longer for prom.”

Once you are ready for prom, it’s time to go to the spot where you and your friends decide to take pictures. The best spots are usually somewhere that is scenic and doesn’t have lots of people there. You should also make sure there is a nice open space, so you don’t feel too crowded. This will help the pictures turn out better and for you to have a great time.

After you have taken your pictures, you should head to dinner. The Squire asked Eisenhower Junior Gavin Reynolds, what place he would recommend for dinner, and he answered, “I would recommend a nicer restaurant like Olive Garden.” When you finish dinner with your friends or with your date, you should head to prom.

It’s up to you when you show up, but most people show up a little late. The Squire asked Eisenhower Junior Gavin Reynolds what his plan is for his arrival this year at prom, he responded, “I’d show up a little late as I believe prom is fun but lasts a long time and going late gives me more time to do what I like before.” When you show up, have a great time dancing and talking with friends.

So, gentlemen, I hope this article has helped you decide what to do on the day of prom.
