Planning for Prom

After several long months of winter, spring is finally here, and that means prom is just around the corner! There is only one month to go until the dance, and everyone is getting ready by buying their formal wear, finding their dates, and planning for the special night. This year’s prom is located in a new place, where it has never been before, and it has a new theme that is sure to wow the crowd. The Squire interviewed Mrs. Alexander, one of the coordinators of prom and the head of Prom Committee, to ask her about the location of prom, and the theme of this year’s dance. Around the end of May every year, the students of EHS excitedly look forward to attending prom. Many girls are always wondering what hairstyle they want in order to look their best on the big day. Before deciding which hairstyle to choose, it might be necessary to first pick out your dress. Choosing a dress is the most crucial part about prom, and it might help inspire your hair style. Next, you need to think about what suits your personality. Consider what will be the most comfortable hairstyle for you during prom. Then, you will be ready to officially decide the best way to wear your hair. Jumping into Girls Spring Sports

     March first was the start of all spring sports. The girls spring sports consist of softball, track, and trap. The softball team hasn’t had much luck with getting games in this season due to the weather so far. They will be lucky to get to practice outside before their first game. For the past few years, the softball team has been struggling because everyone is so young. They should be a good team once everyone gets more experience. The girls track team has been pretty successful throughout the years. Each year, there is a handful of girls that get the privilege to move on to districts. This season looks like it will be a good one. We have a lot of good athletes this year and more to come the next. As for the girls trap team, they have been successful. There aren’t many girls that go out for trap, but the ones that do seem to do well. The Squire interviewed senior softball player, Haylie Birt, to get her take on this year’s softball season.
