Fall is here and with that comes Halloween. The change of leaves and warm apple cider isn’t the only thing to be exited for. October is a time of fun and laughter, with a few scares here and there due to the super fun holiday that is Halloween. There’s no better way to enjoy this holiday than to plan as many fun events to do before it’s over. Who doesn’t like to start off the school year with a homecoming game and dance? Eisenhower’s homecoming dance was held on Saturday, October 3 in the cafeteria. The dance was carefully planned and expertly decorated by our student council members. Each year has a different theme; this year’s theme was Wizard of OZ and it didn’t disappoint. Among the decorations were cardboard cut outs of different characters from the movie, the famous yellow brick road, the house that fell on the Wicked Witch of the West, and many more “Oz” themed memorabilia.
