The Squire Ranks the Top Five Christmas Movies

      Christmas is right around the corner, and, with the break from classes, there will be a lot of time for winter activities. Outdoorsy people may enjoy hiking in snow, skiing, and building snowmen, while other people may prefer to be in a warm and cozy house baking cookies, playing board games, or watching Christmas movies. Though overplayed, everyone loves to snuggle up on the couch and watch classic movies like Rudolph, The Santa Claus, and Frosty the Snowman.

Running through New Year’s Eve Traditions

     With the many festivities around Christmas time, from ice skating and baking cookies, to sharing gifts and making memories, New Year’s Eve can easily be overlooked until the day that it arrives. However, it is very important as a holiday to people in every country and culture of the world, with the many different traditions that are held in households to celebrate the coming of the new year.

Wonderful Winter Parades through Warren

Every year in downtown Warren, there is a big Christmas parade filled with lights, sparkles, and holiday cheer. The community comes together to make this happen with all of the floats, vehicles, marchers and even animals that are in the parade. This year, the parade took place on December tenth at six o’clock in the evening. The Squire wanted to give readers a look at what the parade was like this year, so we asked sophomore Emily Grosch some questions about the parade. But we also wanted to give readers a little bit of an inside look as to what it is like to be a performer in the parade, so we also asked Extreme Athletix athlete and Eisenhower sophomore, Cali Chapman, some questions about the parade.
