Teacher Spotlight Features Mrs. Lobdell

     Welcomed to Eisenhower this year, Mrs. Lobdell shared her teaching experience with The Squire for this issue’s Teacher Spotlight. Just in her first year at the school, she is already involved with student activities, being the junior class advisor. Mrs. Lobdell has managed to create many relationships with her students and co-workers so far, but The Squire wanted to introduce her to rest of the school. We asked her a few questions about her career and pastime activities to help everyone at Eisenhower get to know her a little better.

The Spotlight Opens up on Senior Sydney Cronmiller

     Eisenhower High School is full of many talented and wonderful people, giving The Squire countless options to choose a special student for the Student Spotlight. This winter, the chosen student is senior Sydney Cronmiller. As a student athlete, who is on the cross country and track teams, Sydney is very involved in our school. She is active in many other activities both inside and outside of school. Sydney is a determined student who works hard for the grades she has. The Squire asked Sydney some questions to get to know more about her and her plans after high school.

Helping to Feed Local Families this Holiday Season

     The holiday season is arriving quickly, and Eisenhower’s annual Food Drive is here. The food drive occurs every year from December 1–15. The Squire interviewed National Honor Society President, Bailey Lundmark, for an inside view at the collection. Bailey officially went into office for the National Honor Society this September, after being elected by his fellow honor society peers. He has played a major role in this year’s food drive, along with the club as a whole. The club, however, has not been working alone. Lundmark states, “We also had help from the Key Club, especially the President Taylor Napolitan, and the Student Council members.”
