For the past several years, Sugar Grove has put on a Christmas walk at the beginning of December to kick off the holiday season. The idea of the Christmas Walk involves inviting the community to spend time walking around the town and stopping in different businesses. Reggie Revs Up the Crowd

During Spirit Week at Eisenhower Middle/High School, students in grades 9-12 attended a motivational assembly, hosted by Reggie Dabbs. Reggie brought a series of mixed emotions throughout the auditorium as he shared his life story with the audience. Reggie is a very popular motivational speaker for many teens. As a motivational speaker, Reggie has been recognized on CNN for his ability to connect with teens and address issues and ideas in a way the young adults will understand.

Eisenhower Students are Humming a Different Tune

Throughout the last couple of months, students across District II have been practicing and preparing for the PMEA festivals to come. Last of the festivals to be put on this year was District Choir. On February 3 through 5, nearly 200 students from seven school districts located in the District II area came together to practice and perform the songs selected by British guest conductor and two-time Grammy award winner, Dr. Christopher Kiver of Penn State. EMHS students Anthony Monde, Sarah Dietsch, and Brittany Arp were selected to go to Corry as the Eisenhower representatives.
