Winter sports are coming to a close, and spring sports are now preparing in the preseason. The Knights baseball team is preparing to make another run at the state title. Last year, the baseball team went to an indoor facility in Erie on Sundays. This year, there is a new indoor facility in Warren with cages and nets. Although it isn’t as big as Erie’s Strike Zone, it gets the job done and the place is never crowded. As the end of the school year quickly approaches, so does another favorite end of the year activity – prom. Planning this exciting, yet complicated event can be very fun but also takes a lot of hard work. Eisenhower relies on the Prom Committee, advised by Mrs. Joncas, Mrs. Alexander, and Ms. Walter, to plan it and keep a well-organized schedule, determine the theme of the prom, plan fundraisers for the prom, and discuss other important features of prom. Since school construction was completed last year, The Squire has been doing Elementary Spotlights for exceptional students at Eisenhower Elementary. In efforts to get involved with the elementary students on the Eisenhower campus, The Squire set out to find a student who is both amicable and determined.
