In this edition of The Squire, we were given the opportunity to interview a stellar student from Mrs. Lindell’s fourth grade class. We met with Payton Frank hoping to get her opinion on what it’s like to be in the fourth grade at Eisenhower Elementary School.
The Squire: How do you like Eisenhower Elementary School?
Payton Frank: It’s good.
TS: Did you go to Sugar Grove Elementary School or Russell Elementary School?
PF: I went to Russell Elementary School.
TS: Do you enjoy having students from both Russell Elementary and Sugar Grove Elementary in your class?
PF: Yes, it gives me a chance to see what the other kids from Sugar Grove Elementary like to do.
TS: What’s your favorite class? Why?
PF: Science because I like learning things.
TS: For which classes do you go into the high school throughout your day?
PF: Music, library, computer, gym, and art.
TS: Is it scary being with the older students in the high school?
PF: No, it is normal not scary.
TS: What do you want to be when you grow up? Why?
PF: I want to be a veterinarian because I like animals.
TS: Do you have any pets?
PF: Yes, I have two dogs and a cat.
Now that the Eisenhower campus has the elementary, middle and high school all located together, we are able to gather more information from the elementary students. With construction finally finished, we are getting settled in for the many years to come. Part of the fun in being a K-12 school is that together we are all Eisenhower Knights!
