On May 10, Eisenhower’s Prom is being held at Ivory Acres in Frewsburg, New York. The event will run from 7 to 10 pm, and the night will be filled with snacks, an assorted drink bar, pictures, dancing, and fun.
The Warren All-County Musicals have been happening for decades now and have truly become an event for all ages to look forward to seeing. Having previously done productions such as Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Shrek, and more, audiences always leave these shows with positive reviews. Every year the shows alternate between being performed by the high schools and the middle schools of the county, with each year bringing impressive results. This year, the selected show is none other than Little Shop of Horrors, a classic musical based on a movie that blends music and more serious ideas into a comedy that has been loved for generations.
With the publication of our newspaper, the W-IKE News Show and so many fun projects, the Journalism and the new Communications classes always have a lot of fun things going on behind the scenes. In this issue of The Squire, we will be highlighting these programs here at Eisenhower, and giving you a little bit of a look at what exactly we do, with some input for our amazing advisor Miss Howe and a junior who has done both Journalism and Communications, Alyssa Wismar.
