Connecting with Family Virtually During the Holidays

     Around this time of year, Mrs. Larson, the fourth-grade teacher at Eisenhower Elementary School, would be getting ready to leave for Quebec City, Canada for Christmas. “I would be planning and making lists, checking the weather, packing up clothes, and making sure the car is in the perfect condition for travelling,” she shared with The Squire. However, because of the pandemic, she has had to change her Christmas plans. For many families, they are going through the same thing and have no choice but to stay home for the holidays. It is now important to discover new spins on old traditions for friends and family to stay connected safely this holiday.

Hunting Throughout Deer Rifle Season

     When the second week of deer camp is over and all the hunters head home, it becomes time to reflect on the 2020 rifle season. This year was very successful for many student hunters here at Eisenhower Middle High School. Several students bagged trophy bucks within the first week of the season. Among students that harvested a buck are Tucker Lindell, Keegan Eckstrom, Zane Alexander, and Colby Hagg. The Squire has gathered information about the hunt of one of these students, Colby Hagg.

Girls Dominate Their Way through Fall Sports Season

     Even though the start of fall sports was questionable at the beginning of the season, they are now officially in full swing. Girls soccer, volleyball, and cross-country, are all off to strong starts this year and are working hard to keep their seasons going as long as possible.
