As the journey of Autumn and Finny continues, their lives are forever changed. The sequel to If Only I had Told Him brings a whole new wave of emotions and happiness that will bring readers to tears. Not only is it a whirlwind of emotions, but it is also a fantastic story. Although Finny is dead and gone forever some part of him still lives on forever inside Autumn. Autumn and Finny had never imagined how their lives could change once they were able to be together until it was too late. She wanted him and he wanted her, but it wasn’t until they were both hurt, they realized that what they needed was each other. Not only does the book have the point of view of Finny, but it also has Jack, his best friend, and Autumn, again at the end.
Winnie Wolf is not any ordinary student at Eisenhower Middle/High School, and many people can back up such a statement. An involved student, she is the class president for the 2024 graduating class, president of choir, vice president of Student Council, vice president of Key Club, a member of Battle of the Books and Academic Bowl, and a tennis player from sophomore to senior year, as well as a soccer player her freshman year. She also currently works for the 21st Century Program at Youngsville. Winnie is a fantastic student that has shone brightly through her high school years, working hard and being of service to others. Winnie has been a welcoming soul within this year’s senior class and will continue to be just that as she heads off to college.
The PBIS reward system is a strategy that Eisenhower has been using to create a positive school environment. The school has an app that teachers use to give students points for positive behavior. In the app, which they can access through ClassLink, students can see how many points they have, and any comments teachers have put in for earning those points. The categories in which points can be earned include Integrity, Kindness, and Engagement (IKE). There are stores created by teachers where students can use their points to purchase whatever the store has that interests them.
The Squire
