By: Allie Schutt Senior Co-Editor

This issue’s student spotlight is Eisenhower High School senior, Mallory Trumbull. She participates in many sports including volleyball, basketball, and softball. Her involvement in EHS clubs and activities continues through her involvement in Student Council, Key Club, and National Honor Society. The Squire took Mallory to lunch to ask her some questions.

TS: How is your senior year so far?

MT: My senior year has been okay so far. Filling out college applications and scholarships is A LOT of work (especially when you have AP English homework every day LOL #loveuMissHowe).

TS: What do you do in your free time?

MT: LOL I just relax and watch Netflix every chance I get. Hanging out with the squad is fun too.

TS: What activities are you involved in?

MT: I play basketball (captain), volleyball (captain), and softball. I’m the co-president of Student Council, treasurer of Key Club, and president of the senior class. I am also a part of National Honor Society and Sport Support Club.

TS: What are your plans after high school?

MT: I plan to go to Grove City College and play basketball there. I do not know what I am going to major in yet.

TS: What is your favorite sport? Why? How long have you played?

MT: My favorite sport is basketball and I have played since third grade. It is my favorite sport because it is physical, rewarding, and P.H.U.N.!!!

TS: What is your ideal playlist?

MT: My ideal playlist would consist of One Direction, Fall Out Boy, OneRepublic, 5 Seconds of Summer, Adele, twenty one pilots, Taylor Swift and ANY and ALL 80’s music.

TS: If you had a time machine, where would you go?

MT: I would go find out what actually happened to Amelia Earheart.

TS: What is your ideal feast?

MT: My ideal feast would include pizza, boneless honey BBQ wings, broccoli, cheesy potatoes, bananas, Texas sheet cake, Miracle Whip sandwiches, Little Debbies, chicken fingers, curly fries, donuts, Mountain Dew, Skittles, Starbursts, cheeseburgers, chocolate chip cookies, and brownies.

Mallory is an all-in-all well-rounded student and athlete. As a co-president of Student Council and a captain of the varsity girls’ basketball team, she is a true leader. If you see Mallory in the halls, be sure to say hi! Good luck in all you do, Mallory!
