Eisenhower is a Great School Choice

     Eisenhower High School is located in Lander, Pennsylvania and is part of the Warren County School District, which is the second largest school district in Pennsylvania in terms of geography, spanning seven hundred eighty-eight square miles. According to the WCSD website, the mission of Eisenhower High School is to support the personal and intellectual success and wellness of every student every day, which makes it a great school choice.

The Spotlight Turns to Emily Grosch

     There are several outstanding students here at Eisenhower, but this issue’s spotlight turns to senior, Emily Grosch. Grosch is positively recognized for her hard work and dedication to academics, while being a multi-sport athlete. She participates in cross country, track, and soccer, qualifying for multiple districts meets, as well as playoff games throughout her high school career. She is involved in school clubs and shows her school spirit through organizations such as Student Council, National Honor Society, and Key Club. These clubs allow her to voluntarily give back to the Eisenhower community and bring positivity to the school.

Chaos at the NBA Trade Deadline

     The trade deadline for any major sports organization always brings emotions of nervousness, anxiety, joy, and sometimes heartbreak for both fans and players. This year the NBA trade deadline was no exception, with many intriguing trades and free-agent signings from multiple organizations. Some hope to make a final bolster to their rosters to win a championship, while others are making moves to “rebuild” their rosters.
