After many weeks of meetings and negotiations in an attempt to obtain a new contract, the Warren County Education Association felt they had no other option but to strike. This announcement of the strike was released early Monday evening. School will be out of session beginning on Thursday, October 6, and students will be notified via district-wide call blasts as to when school will start again. Fall sports practices and games will continue as previously planned; however, there will be no late bus. Both the school district and the teachers’ union are hoping for a swift solution.
