MLB Swings into Season

     Major League Baseball is back and has started off hot!  This season has many great players and teams. To find out more about the MLB, The Squire interviewed Eisenhower Knights second baseman, Johnny Palmieri. The MLB is one of the most watched sports leagues for a good reason. Baseball is a unique sport and is different from other sports in many ways. Palmieri explained, “The slow rhythm of the game and stopping throughout” is what sets it apart from the other sports. Baseball is a great sport and its back!

Preparing for the Olympics

     The Paris Summer Olympics are coming up this year and there is a lot of buzz in the City of Lights. Many American athletes look to win gold and represent the red, white, and blue. The Olympics hold many famous events, including basketball, swimming, gymnastics, soccer, and track and field events. Many well-known athletes look to participate as well, with a list of committed athletes consisting of, per nbcolympics.com, Stephen Curry, Breanna Stewart, Simone Biles, LeBron James, and countless others competing in Paris.
