With the holidays approaching quickly, it’s time to get your trees out to celebrate and decorate. When choosing a tree, there are many options, with the two main choices being whether to purchase a real or artificial tree. Artificial trees came into production around 1883 while real trees started to be used for Christmas early as 1419. The Squire has conducted some research to help you determine which type of tree to choose this holiday.
The winter can bring harsh conditions out on the road that all drivers need to watch out for while driving. Failure to acknowledge these conditions could lead to property damage, injury, or death from uncontrollably sliding off the road or getting into an accidental collision.
This edition of The Squire’s student spotlight shines on senior, Caroline Smyth. She has been busy in her time at Eisenhower, being an involved member of clubs such as National Honor Society and Captain’s Council, in addition to wearing the blue and gold as a member of the volleyball and cheerleading teams. Her impact spreads to the rest of Warren County, where she performs in many musical theatre productions in the Warren community.
