     The Squire recently went to The Plaza in downtown Warren, to review the food, service, and atmosphere. The Plaza serves traditional Greek and American classics and is a popular local dining destination. If you’ve ever considered dining at this cozy restaurant, where the wait staff has described the food as “homemade, delicious, and made with love,” keep reading to find out if the Plaza is the place for you. 

     The restaurant has a variety of food, including wraps, pasta, sandwiches, and gyros. If you have any special preferences, they offer a variety of customization for their meals. The worker shared their favorite meal, saying, “Steak Slovakia because it comes with our homemade ranch and our cooks know how to make a good steak.” 

     The Plaza is also known for their variety of homemade pies, all of which are delicious and the best in town. The employee commented that their favorite pie is coconut cream, saying that “It’s been my childhood favorite.” However, all the pies are good, and you cannot go wrong with any choice. 

     The food isn’t the only thing that is good at the Plaza Restaurant. The service is also excellent. On busy days, according to the worker, they can get over 150 customers. Despite it being busy, they can still get your food out within 40 minutes. The wait staff will always check in on customers no matter how busy they are. Plus, all the workers are kind and sociable. 

     The atmosphere is very relaxing. To create a comfortable environment, they have no music playing, so all you can hear is people talking. It is the perfect place for family dinner, especially if you want to catch up. It is also great for kids, because they do not have a bar, and have a kid’s menu. They also have an open kitchen, in the style of a classic diner, so you can see your food being cooked. Overall, the atmosphere is cozy as well as relaxing.  

     In the summer, they have outdoor seating on the sidewalk where people walk by. They also have a great location, being surrounded by locally owned stores. It is the perfect place to stop after finishing shopping. 

     The Plaza is a staple in Warren. Unlike most places with greasy food that makes you feel bad after, The Plaza has food that satisfies your hunger while tasting amazing. The Squire isn’t the only customer who would recommend this restaurant, 140 people on TripAdvisor have rated it 4 out of 5 stars and have ranked it the second-best restaurant in Warren. The Squire would highly recommend checking out the Plaza and be sure to get your favorite pie for dessert.
