     Eisenhower High School is located in Lander, Pennsylvania and is part of the Warren County School District, which is the second largest school district in Pennsylvania in terms of geography, spanning seven hundred eighty-eight square miles. According to the WCSD website, the mission of Eisenhower High School is to support the personal and intellectual success and wellness of every student every day, which makes it a great school choice. 

     One reason Eisenhower Middle High School is a great school choice is because of its strong academics. Eisenhower offers many different classes to help you in the future. Some of the classes offered are advanced courses, dual enrollment, and career-based programs offered at the career center. Students can take challenging classes to help them prepare for college or choose more hands-on courses to help them learn new job skills for the future. No matter what path they choose, Eisenhower High School gives the resources students need to succeed in the future. 

     The staff at Eisenhower is another reason Eisenhower High School is a great choice. Teachers help students succeed in the future by helping inside and outside of the classroom. The school provides things like tutoring programs, guidance counseling, and college and career readiness to make sure that students are prepared for their lives after high school. 

    EHS also has a positive and inclusive school culture. The Squire interviewed Joseph Gigliotti, a sophomore at EHS and a Squire staff member, and he shared, “I like the community that is built around it and we all get together.” The Squire also interviewed Mr. Musi, a teacher at EHS and he shared “I like the way the teachers work together in this building to keep things running smoothly. I have worked with many other teachers in my time here. We have all gotten along well as colleagues. We have all been willing to step in and help each other whenever needed.” EHS staff and students help this community keep a strong sense of school spirit by hosting events like pep rallies and coordinating volunteer projects to make the school’s environment a place that you want to be in.  

     Overall, Eisenhower High School is an excellent school choice for new students who want a supportive, entertaining, and great education. The school provides fun extracurricular activities, great academics, and supportive teachers that help students succeed. Students at Eisenhower High School have many opportunities to help students prepare for their futures. Eisenhower’s fun and unique environment is a great place to get your education.
