As the summer clears out and the fall festivities begin, one thing many students all around look forward to is Halloween. Halloween is loved for many reasons but among those, the candy ranks near the highest for most people.
Halloween is a fun tradition that began many years ago and continues every year on October 31. In 2024, Halloween will fall on a Thursday and, between the pumpkin carvings, dressing up, celebrations, and trick or treating, it will be a fun, fulfilled holiday for everyone. Among all the traditions, the one most appealing to students is trick or treating. From sour to sweet candies, white to dark chocolates, it is difficult to say which one ranks the best among trick or treaters. However, with an abundance of research and surveying, The Squire has done just that.
With that being said, here are the top ten Halloween candies based on both research from Eisenhower student surveys and various online rankings.
1. Reese’s Cups – In a clear consensus among all online lists and surveys, the Reese’s peanut butter cups are number one above all other Halloween candies.
