     Everyone enjoys watching movies, and summer blockbusters are no exception. The Squire is here to give readers a preview of movies set to come out this year. So, what about the upcoming summer blockbusters this year of 2024? Movies like Deadpool & Wolverine and Bad Boys, Ride or Die seem to be some of the most anticipated summer blockbusters of 2024. The Squire conducted some research to see what other people have to say about upcoming blockbusters and other information about the films coming out this summer.

     When The Squire asked a few students about their most anticipated summer blockbusters, Deadpool 3 seems to be one of, if not, the most anticipated summer blockbusters of this year. EHS freshmen Shane Schimp explained he is a fan because “…of the comedy, action, and because of Ryan Reynolds.” The Squire also interviewed EHS freshmen, Wyatt Davis, and he said he was excited about the same movie because “… I like the way it looks and… it’s really cool.” But this isn’t the only blockbuster students are excited about.

     Online research confirms that, Deadpool 3 and Bad Boys, Ride or Die are some of the most anticipated summer blockbusters of 2024, but what other movies are also really anticipated? Despicable Me 4, A Quiet Place: Day 1, and Alien Romulus seem to be some other less anticipated, but equally as exciting movies to be released this summer. Most of these movies are predicted to do well for the most part, but movies like A Quiet Place: Day 1 and or Alien Romulus may have a bit more trouble succeeding this summer. Some popular actors that are in some of these upcoming blockbusters include people like Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Will Smith, Steve Carell, and Will Ferrell.

     There are many blockbusters coming out this summer, so do some research to see which movies you might want to check out. Movies can be watched at the local Dipson Theatres in either Warren or Lakewood. Enjoy the summer blockbusters that come out this year and have a great summer!
