As the snow melts and the temperature is getting warmer, students at Eisenhower, especially seniors, are ready to graduate and get out into the nice summer weather. ‘Senioritis’ is kicking in for a lot of them, as they are beginning to dread the classes and assignments.
One stand-out senior from the class of 2024 is Jason Rohlin, an avid musician, decent golfer, and dedicated video gamer. Jason also cheers on the Knights football, volleyball, and basketball teams in the Pig Pen!
The Squire sat down with senior Jason to get to know him more and get a feel for his senior year.
The Squire: In your experience at Eisenhower, what has been a favorite memory?
Jason Rohlin: My favorite memory at Eisenhower was the volleyball tournament we did this year.
TS: What advice do you have for underclassmen?
JR: My advice for underclassmen is to keep up with schoolwork and try your best to get good grades.
TS: In your spare time what do you do to keep busy?
JR: In my spare time I play Fortnite and golf with the fellas.
TS: If you could only eat three foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?
JR: If I could only eat three foods for the rest of my life, they would be Sheetz, spaghetti, and grilled cheese.
TS: Who is a role model you look up to and why?
JR: I look up to my dad because he is a very hard worker and a great man!
TS: What is one teacher who has had the most impact on your life and why?
JR: A teacher who has made an impact on my life is Mr. Penley for making class entertaining by using his stories and jokes for lessons.
TS: What are your plans after high school?
JR: My plans after high school are to go to a technical school for architectural drafting.
Jason is one who strived for the best here at Eisenhower and at the career center in the pre-engineering class there. He looks to expand the pre-engineering field for his career. The Squire thanks Jason for sitting down with us and answering our questions and we wish him the best of luck in the future.
